From the classes on my tour

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend?

Today I will share a bit more from my great tour in USA and Canada.

After CHA, I stayed together with Trisha Ladouceur one more night in Chicago to teach a bunch of lovely ladies at a hotel there, a event ran by Swirlydoos and the amazing Krissy Mossberger who I was so happy to finally meet after "years" online!

A group of sweet ladies after the project class @the Swirlydoos event. Some of these lovely ladies had flied in from long distance to attend CHA and the class, and it was so nice to meet them all!

After Swirlydoos event in Chicago, my plan was to fly straight in to New York the next morning to teach @ Lasting Memories on Saturday July 23rd. But that night in Chicago was insane, in rained and rained and it didn't stop before half Chicago was floated and the water went over the roof of the cars some places! So, of course, the airport was floated too, and all flights were cancelled or delayed that morning. It took me 3,5 hours in a line just to get to the check-in! So, it says it all, I had no chance to make my flight that morning, even if I had been there 4 hours before my flight I wouldn't had made it. My flight was around one hour delayed, but still I had no chance to make it, the whole airport was chaos that morning.
So, due to this, a group of lovely ladies had to wait and wait at Lasting Memories in NY for my classes while I were stuck at the airport in Chicago. I got there hours too late, and due to that we had to cancel one of my classes, which was really sad and that I am so sorry for. But imagine, even after hours and hours of waiting and one class cancelled, the ladies were so sweet and patience, and they were a class that was a big pleasure and honor to teach! Here they are;

One happy lady just about to pack up a pack of beautiful Prima flowers from the layout kit.

Some sweet ladies in the middle of the process of creating the layout.

Some other sweet ladies creating and almost done with their layouts from the class.

One sweet and happy lady with her beautiful layout from the class.

And some of the wonderful ladies from the class with their layouts!

From here the tour went to Canada to teach at two different stores in Edmonton and Calgary. I flied in to Canada already the next morning and my friend Trisha picked me up at the airport and so friendly opened the doors to her home to let me stay there while I was in Canada. She took really good care of me all the 5 days I was up there and I had a great time visiting Canada!

First class up was Treasured Memories in Edmonton, a wonderful store with lots of great art and treasures! Just look at these images!

Sweet Chantel (the owner) behind the desk (in black hat).

Yeah, I could easily imagine this typer in my studio...

Awesome typography and art!

Small treasures on a plate!

Look at all these amazing things in this shelf!

Drawers filled with treasures!

True art!!! *in love*

Well,.. do I have to say that some of these little cute ones had to come with me home to Norway? ..!!! Seriously! Look at these, all drawers full of these sweet little treasures! Old typo treasures!!!

Lovely store, right? Thought I had to share some images of it with you all.

I should had continued to share more from this tour now, and the next images were suppose to be from the classes at this same store, Treasured Memories. But there will be too many images for one post, so I will continue to share tomorrow and hope you all will peek back in then ;O)

Thank you for dropping in and for taking your time to view a bit of the USA and Canadian tour!

Take care!

hugs and smiles
Ingvild
