Hi everyone, how are you today?
I just got back home from Australia, from two AMZING weeks on the other side of the world that I will never forget! I met so many wonderful and sweet people, and I had such a great time!
I will share more of the Prima Road Tour Australia in other upcoming blog posts, but first I will share some earlier made Prima layouts with you all.
First I would like to share a whole image of the layout I taught in all the classes in Australia, plus some classes up in Europe in September. Here is "My Iselina", a Prima layout with a picture of my little daughter named Iselina, who turned 5 years when I was down in Australia;
Her birthday is on November 12th, and I am now in the middle of the planning of her party tomorrow. She wished for her mum to celebrate with her, so she wished to wait until I got back home. So, after 40 hours traveling to head back home and some sleep, now it is time to bake some cakes to get ready to her princess Birthday party tomorrow! ;O)
This layout, "My Iselina", have been taught in Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Israel and Australia, to around 470 amazing people. Australia was the last country I would teach this layout in, so now I can put it up in here and share it with all of you. I hope that those of you who have attended one of my classes will share your samples too! ;O)
And here is another one that I made months ago for the great French Magazine Histoires De Pages for an article about how to use text stamps differently. On this one I used text stamps on flowers to decorate flowers and make them a bit different. the layout is called "A Child's Art", and shows pictures of my daughter from she was about 2,5 years old and played around outside with chalks and had fun making "art".
If you look close on the main picture you can see that she has a belt on that hangs a bit out on the side. I used that same belt as embellishment on this layout to make it a bit more memorable and special, and to pick up something extra from the picture and to draw attention to it.
Here is a close-up of the small photo on the layout, showing my daughter when she is in action and playing with the chalks. Here you can also see how it is stamped on the Prima flowers with text stamps from Layers of Colours Art Stamps.
And here is another one I made months back for the great french Magazine Scrap Pour Tous.;
Here I used 3 pictures of my daughter. Cut her out in two of them, but kept the original background on one of them so I didn't cut away the whole story on the picture, but let some of the original surroundings be left. But I also tried to focus on the colors and the background on the layout to strengthen up this a bit, to still let it look like it actually did in the forest that day. My idea is when I cut away everything around a person on a picture, I like it when there is still something left of the original story, somehow.
This day she brought a glass with lid to collect in small "baby frogs" or what ever she could find in the forest of wild small bugs and animals.
On the picture down to right you can see her sitting with the glass and the red lid have felled off and is laying on the ground in front of her. So the important small things are still there even though the background is cut away. Then you can see her walking away and heading over to the main picture which still has the background on, where you can see the water where she were looking for the small bugs and frogs etc.
