3 of Love - small altered canvases

Hi everyone

Hope you are all having a great week!

Last week I finished up 3 small canvases (10x10 cm) as one project, where the design connects the three canvases together. I altered them in a shabby chic style with touches of steampunk, using different mixed medium techniques and lots of Prima products as my own collections Shabby Chic Resin Treasures and Junkyard Finings.

Here are the canvas project;
Above: All the three canvases from front. I used soft and romantic colors and went for a romantic theme, were the canvases has words and text as "Treasure love", "care", "us", "sweet Dream".

Above: The mid canvas caries the main design. Here I used a large heart standing out from the canvas, and added two angel Shabby Chic Resin Treasure wings on it and Junkyard Findings "Clock Faces" and "Clock Hands"

Above the heart you can see a tiny light bulb from the Junkyard Findings collection with the word "us" on. These bulbs are perfect to use on all kinds of crafty projects, and they are flat on the backside and very strong, doesn't crush easily at all! (They are massive, not empty inside).

The bulbs from the Junkyard Findings collection that are used on this project. These bulbs are also available in larger size and different designs. Please check it out at Prima!

Above: Here you can see the left canvas. Again I used a tiny bulb, and also added the gears from the Junkyard Findings collection. The white corner and the white bird are from the new Shabby Chic Resin Treasures.

Above: The Junkyard Finings gears.

Above; Shabby Chic Resin Treasure birds "Fly Away", as the one used on this project.

Above: Here you can see the edge of the mid canvas with the heart on. Two different laces/trims used together with gesso and stamps. In the bottom I used layers with note sheets, Prima pattern papers and old news paper sheets.

Above; The Junkyard Findings "Clock Faces" used on the big heart on the mid canvas.

Above; The "Clock Hands" from Junkyard Findings that I used together with the little white "Clock Faces". This package includes 2 different sizes on the large hands, where I used the smallest ones of those. Totally there are 14 hands in this pack.

Above; The three canvases from right side.

Above; The canvas to right, the 3rd one. Here I used a Shabby Chic Resin Treasure "Birdhouses" from last years release together with some beautiful Prima stamps.

Above; The Shabby Chic Resin Treasure "Birdhouses", which includes the birdhouse I used on this project.

I will put this project up for sale as soon as my "Art Shop" is up running.

Hope you liked my share for today, and thank you so much for your time and for your visit!

Take care everyone and have a wonderful and creative week further! ;O)

*hugs and smiles*

Ingvild ;O)

Hi Invild,
Your canvases are stunning, so beautifully created, they are true works of art. These are little treasures to be kept for a lifetime and have inspired me to do some of my own. Funnily enough I have some small canvases that I purchased a short time ago ready to do some Christmas gifts.... Now I know what to do with them. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs Linda xx
