Please welcome the very first Blog Guest Designer!

Dear all blog visitors.

From today a new journey starts here in my blog, where 1-2 guest designers will be featured every month. The guests are different artists from around the world, and with different experiences and styles. Each one will showcase beautiful works where they have used products from my line at Prima, the Ingvild Bolme line, which today consists the collections Shabby Chic Resin Treasures, Shabby Chic Metal Treasures, Junkyard Findings and Comfort-Craft Tools.

I am so honored and thankful for each one of them who create so beautiful pieces of art and so kindly let me share their works in here with you all.

It's an huge honor to introduce you all today to the very first Blog Guest Designer. Please welcome;

Frank Garcia!

My name is Frank Garcia and I live in Los Angeles CA, I currently am a student and am finishing my Psychology degree in a few months! I have been scrapbooking for 5 years now and I love it so very much. I really love Prima and everything Ingvild has designed for them! I will have to say that my style is an ever-changing art form. I don't think I have a particular style as I am always inspired by everyday events and moments. I tend to create highly dimensional layouts and projects, I think it really sets a different idea as to what can be created with just paper.

When did you discover paper craft, and why do you still create within this craft?
I discovered paper crafting one day that I stepped inside a Michaels store with my friend. It was like a a breeze of fresh air, I had never heard or seen anything about scrapbooking, and since that moment I was hooked. I scrapbook because I want to preserve my everyday moments. I want to be able to go back in time when I look at my pages and remember those special moments one can only capture through scrapbooking. I really love how scrapbooking can bring people together and it truly is part of something special in my life.

Where do you find inspiration to your work?
I will have to say that everyday moments are my inspiration, but mainly my DH! He is a HUGE source of inspiration for me, making my boring days so exciting and happy, I truly adore him!

Where and when do you prefer to create, and how do you prefer to have it around you?

Well I used to create with friends but I then slowly ended up creating alone. I think alone I can concentrate more. I get most creative at night in the late hours. It's so perfectly silent, I can play some nice mellow music and create all night long.

How does your scrap place usually look like?
I am a little perfectionist. I have to have all my stuff organized when I create. Even when I finish one layout, I clean up and start all over! I like having my laptop and my favorite pieces on my table to inspire me.

Do you have any favorite Prima – Ingvild Bolme line products?
I love ALL Prima/ Ingvild products! However if I had to choose I would choose the Shabby Chic Resin Treasures, and the Junkyard Findings Clock Hands and Clock Faces, those are amazingly gorgeous so delicate and amazing!

Above; A beautiful and soft layout made by Frank, where some of his favorite Prima - Ingvild Bolme line products are used. Look how beautifully he mixed up different Prima flowers and products in the cluster and his use great use of negative spaces!

Above;  A close-up showing how creatively he used the white Junkyard Findings "Clock Face" with some too large white Junkyard Findings "Clock Hands" on to get some interesting contrasts and details. Both products Frank mentioned as some of his favorite products.

Above: Junkyard Findings "Clock Faces", one of Frank's favorite products from the Prima - Ingvild Bolme line.

Above: The Junkyard Findings "Clock Hands" Frank used on top of the Clock Face.

Above: A Shabby Chic Resin Treasure used in between a beautiful cluster of Prima flowers!

Above; Shabby Chic Resin Treasures "Eros", which Frank used on his wonderful layout!

Above: The creative detail where Frank used butterfly wings and added a Junkyard Findings "Typo Zippers" to the center of it is so clever and looks just amazing!

Above; Junkyard Findings "Typo Zippers". These comes in a pack with 8 pcs, 4 different colors and with 8 different printed words on. Frank used one white Typo Zipper on his creative butterfly.

Above: Another beautiful layout by Frank in soft pink with an amazing use of different Prima flowers mixed up together! Again Frank added a Shabby Chic Resin Treasure, which he mentioned as one of his favorite products from the Prima - Ingvild Bolme line.

Above; A close-up showing the Shabby Chic Resin Treasure "Cherub With Bird" peeking up from the flower cluster.

Above: Frank mentioned "highly dimensional" as something we could see in his works, and this layout really shows us a great sample where he used lots of dimensions! Amazing work with pattern paper and layers!

Above; Here you can see a Junkyard Findings "Industrial Lamps" peeking out behind layers of Prima pattern papers and embellishments! These lamps are made of metal and comes in a pack with total 5 lamps, 4 different designs!

Above: On this close-up we can see Frank's uses of Shabby Chic Resin Treasures and Junkyard Findings together. Again he used a "Typo Zippers" which he added in between layers of pattern papers.

Above: A Junkyard Findings "Typo Bulbs" with the word "moments" on, added as a little contrast to all the soft Prima flowers for an interesting balance of products and designs. These Typo Bulbs are flat on the backside and very solid, they will not crush and works well on all sorts of creative projects!

Please make sure you drop by Frank's blog here to see more of his beautiful works and to learn more about this great designer!

Thank you Frank for so kindly sharing all your beautiful creations and your great talent with us all here today and for all the inspiration! It was so nice to learn to know you a bit more.
Truly appreciate to have you here as a Blog Guest Designer, thank you so much!

I wish Frank and all of you a wonderful and creative week filled with lots and lots of creativity!

*hugs and smiles*

Ingvild
