Good Monday everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. And to those of you who celebrates Thanks Giving; Hope you all had a wonderful Thanks Giving and that everything as as you wished and hoped for that day!
A few weeks back I made a card for my mum which had a close friend who had birthday. I was short on time, so I just had to put something together in an hour or so, and no plans or ideas or anything.
So I quickly decided to go for a large card, approx. 26x18 cm or around there. Started with a pretty plane base of white card stock for the card, with scalloped edges around a soft pattern paper as background and just add embellishments randomly and quickly as it all came together.
Here is how the front of the card came out;
Above; The front of the handmade card, showing different Prima products as a Prima branch, wonderful Prima flowers mixed together and Shabby Chic Resin Treasures as the white sparrow bird "Small Birds" and the white resin frame "Baroque.
Above; Here is a close-up of the details on the front. In the center of the "Baroque" resin frame which is from the Shabby Chic Resin Treasures, I added a large metal "Gear" from the Junkyard Findings collection, then a Clock Face and two Clock Hands, all from the same collection. On the top of the clock parts I added a paper butterfly cutout from a Prima pattern paper with the Comfort-Craft Tools "Craft Knife".
On the background paper you can see I also stamped down a beautiful Prima birdcage stamp and splashes and drips of Tattered Angels mist.
Again a very simple card and a quick one to make. Often it depends on what kind of products you choose to work with, right products set together can makes it all and make wonder on even the simplest things you have to do in a hurry. This is one of the reasons that I love Prima so much as I do; they simply have sooo many wonderful and different products, that it makes it easy to embellish in the easiest and beautiful way!
Have a WONDERFUL week my sweet visitors, and I hope to see you all back again soon! Hope you liked my todays share.
