Welcome in everyone.
Today I will share with you my latest work, a mini canvas made with many different mixed media techniques and Prima embellishments. When I made this I played really randomly and tried out new things, so unfortunately I do not have any tutorial or anything like that for this one.
This canvas were made as a prize for the lucky winner of the challenge at a wonderful event arranged here at Hotel Union Geiranger in Norway this weekend! The attendees shall scraplift one of my layouts, and the winner will receive this canvas including some packs for Prima goodies. You can read more about the event here. (In Norwegian).
I was suppose to teach classes there, but had to cancel do to health reasons. For the same reason there are no other upcoming classes either this half year, but I hope I can start up again after the summer. I am truly so sorry that I couldn't teach this time, and am terrible sorry for all the ladies who had signed up for my classes. But I hope and believe you will all still have a wonderful weekend, and hopefully we can all catch up another time soon with another opportunity. To everyone at this event this weekend; have loads and loads of fun, be sure to make a weekend filled with lots of creativity and unforgettable memories! I would love to hear from you after the event how it was and what you all made. Take care and good luck to you all! ;O)
Here is the canvas
Here is the canvas
"Angel Hearts" Above: A little 4x4 inch small canvas with layers of mediums added with different techniques and topped with Prima embellishments.Above: The canvas from a different angle, showing some of the details on the edge made by different stapming techniques using Prima masks and Chalk Edgers.
Above: As a focus point I used a white Shabby Chic Resin Treasures "Cupid", the sweet little cherub holding the heart. The heart that the cherub is holding pick's up again the heart on the background of the canvas.
Above: The pink butterfly is an vintage die-cut butterfly where I added an vintage alarm clock gear part as "body" and a twined wire as "feelers".
Above: The fun "bubbles" are made using a Prima mask and a texture medium to get small circle dots. Then I used heat gun on it to they popped up and let them dry like it. Then I went on with layers of paint, Chalk Edgers, multi-medium and so on.
The word "Angels" is a Prima clear tape, and above that one you can see a piece of curled Prima washi tape that are crossing Junkyard Findings metal embellishments as Tiny Junkyard Findings "Clock Parts" and Junkyard Findings "Gears" and "Clock Hands". They can all be ordered at Prima.
Above: On the right side/edge of the canvas I added a piece of Prima lace on top of the tapes. On the metal gear I used a Tiny Junkyard Findings "Jeans Buttons".
Around the edge I decorated using a Prima mask and Chalk Edgers in Attic Dust, Turquoise Stone and Teal Damask and a black thin pen.The beautiful turquoise flowers is also from Prima.
Before I end this post, I also wish to share a little journal page I did a while ago, as probably one of my very first ones of the kind ;)

Above: A little Art Journal I made for a friend a while back. Tried to capture some details from Norway and what she meant to me. Used Shabby Chic Resin Treasures window and Prima "Amore" heart, together with loads of mediums, news paper prints, Prima flowers, photo cut outs, stamps and much more.
I hope you all liked my share today, and thank you so much for dropping in. Appreciate your visit and wish you all a wonderful day.
*hugs and smiles*
