How are you all doing? Had a great weekend?
Today I wish to first of all thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love you leave behind on my posts, such wonderful and sweet comments, that really makes my day and makes me wanna keep sharing what I do with you all. This means a lot to me, especially all the nice comments left behind on my last post with the Steampunky ADHD Troll which can be viewed here. - Thank you SO MUCH every single one of you!
Back in 2010 I was in Dubai teaching at Paperlane. I had such an amazing trip to one of the most amazing places I've been to ever, and met so many wonderful people. I had some days there I never will forget, and I really hope I will go back there one day, and then hopefully meet some of the wonderful people again. Meanwhile I treasure the memories from that trip, and think back to the class I taught and all my students a lot. And today, after being out for publications and so on, I can finally share the layout I taught in my class. Now it's kind of an old layout, but thought I would do a quick post and share it anyway...
Above: The wonderful Paperlane store I taught a class for in 2010.
Above: A close-up showing some details and effects of techniques, with wonderful Prima products. The felt leaf is a felt DeVine from Prima that was originally in one dark moss green color, but I added splashes of fresh green on it using acrylic paint. I also used the same leaf as a mask to draw around before gluing it down a bit beside the drawn lines, for a dimensional feel.
Above: Some details surrounding the baby photo of my daughter as a detailed frame. Here you can see I used a Prima flowers backdrop packaging upside down as an photo mat, and a button as the "o" in the word "button".
Thank you so much for dropping in for my quick share today, hope you enjoyed it. Wish you all a great day, take care!
