A Special Guest and a great GIVEAWAY

Welcome back to our Chalk Edgers week!
*Please make sure you check this whole post for how to attend the GIVEAWAY DRAW*

This is a special week, so we have a very Special Guest up for today.
Please welcome the talented Celine Navarro!

Celine is both a mixed media and a scrapbook artist. Her style is colorful, freestyle, and she sometimes uses mixed media techniques on scrapbook projects. Her layouts are mainly 12x12 and 8.5x11. She is addicted to making mini books and any kind of art journals.

Back in 2008, Celine founded her own book editing company and released {entreARTistes}magazine, a scrapbook magazine which has gained in popularity the last 4 years.

She works with Karine Cazenave-Tapie to organize a minimum of 6 events per year in France and in Europe, plus, she’s a full-time scrapbooking teacher. This has enabled her to travel the world teaching classes in places such as: USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, New Caledonia, Panama, Israel, and Europe.
She has launched a new website, called entreartistes.fr with a community and eshop (where you can take self-paced classes, online workshops , subscribe to the magazine and more...).

Celine is a designer for Studio Calico, Two Peas in a Bucket and Fancy Pants Designs.

Celine tells me that she use her Chalk Edgers on almost everything she creates.
A while ago Celine did a post in her own blog about the Chalk Edgers, and today she so kindly let us share her post in here with you all. This is what she shared;

In love with Chalk Edgers inks...

You remember those Colorbox chalk inks? Well, yeah, forget about them.
I've never liked those. They were the first inks I bought when I started stamping and never liked them. Too dry, too wet, didn't cover the entire surface with ink. Blah.
A while ago, Studio Calico put these new Chalk Edgers  from Prima. I was like "hmmm, yeah, whatever".
And then, Nicole Harper posted a few stamped images she did with these inks
OH MY!
I was then like "hmmmm, pretty".
I ordered one.
I tried.
LOVED IT.
I ordered  EVERY SINGLE INK :)

These inks are amazing!

You can easily hold them in your hand/fingers thanks to the shape of the handle, the ink goes perfectly on every stamp, there are a lot of ink in each foam so be careful when you apply it on your stamp : don't press too hard because there's gonna be ink everywhere.

And they dry super quickly!

I love them : now I have a beautiful color palette of inks :)

Honestly, I couldn't resist! I mean : $1,99 each!? (about 1,50€) This is such a super good deal!

Here's my color palette :

Have a FUN stamping day! :)
hugs!

*Celine*

Now let's take a look at some of Celine Navarro's wonderful works!

Awesome! I've shared the link on FB (sorry no Twitter acct.) Love all the colors, hard to pick one! Today my favs are Turquoise Stone, Lime Pie and Tin can. I'm sure that will change with my mood! I would love to win because I am fairly new to cardmaking/scrapbooking and would love to learn new techniques and maybe move into art journals and mini canvases. My ink pad supply sure could use a boost! Thanks for a great week and the giveaway!

Hello! Wow this is an amazing giveaway! Thanks a lot!
I love summer colors so I would definitively say that my favorite color is Coltsfoot Stamens (even if the others are also gorgeous!)
Why should I give the super-fantastic giveaway?... I really like stamping and working with inks but of course I can't afford all the colors and just imaging those pads at home is just fantastic !I also really like the embellishments (they would fit perfectly on my scrapbook pages) and I would really love participating at Summer Camp with Céline, this would be a great opportunity to learn new techniques and share with others scrapers. I share your post on my Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/annelise.parmentier?ref=tn_tnmn)

Wow Ingvild, what a week! so much inspiration and lots of really lovely summery layouts shared, a feast for the eyes and the mojo!

I love all the colors but if I have to choose one it would be Garden Grass along with the entire green/yellow color palette, ideal for summer layouts/canvases, I am making up some mixed media canvases as gifts for friends and these colors would be just perfect.

I will share this post on Facebook. I would love to win, but I would also like to wish everyone good luck in this gorgeous giveaway.

Oh, my...where to begin? First of all, THANK-YOU to Celine for sharing her amazing works and also for her part in this giveaway!

Favorite chalk edgers? I'm pretty sure I've bought Shabby Tote 4 times since I started using them- my all-time favorite! I've also used the daylights out of my Pastel chalk edgers, especially the Pastel Pink! I'd love to get another White one as well since my kids got ahold of them one day and ruined my white one :(. Finally, Dry Sand has been used, abused, and replaced more than once. I love those more muted colors in neutral shades as they best suit my style :).

Thanks, Ingvild- for the chance. WHAT a giveaway!!

I think (and it is crazy hard to choose just one) that my fav colour of the edges is Old Rose because roses have always been significant in my life.

It is Winter in Australia so the perfect time to snuggle up indoors and learn some new scrapping techniques and have the incentive to actually scrap some layouts.

It would be great to learn new techniques and gather new ideas as I volunteer at a local center called West St, for people with mental illness. Craft is such a great way to not only bring people together but also to help those who may have lost their confidence re-gain it.

The inspiration gained from this class would benefit so many people.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful inspiration and having such an amazing give away.

Just one color, how in the world!?! Well it would have to be the dark bark since I tend to use browns the most, but gosh they are all gorgeous colors!

Why I want to win? Everything is just awesome, the opportunity to have that wonderful papercrafting goodness in one pop, gosh it would take me a dogs age to buy all of it on my own. The opportunity to learn techniques fro a pro in the business is such a great treat. I try to be a frugal crafter making as much of my embellishments from what I have. And besides winning is just so much gosh darn fun :)

Thanks for this great give away.

Of course that will probably change about 30 times before I finish writing. Why do I want to win? Hmmmmmm.... I'm absolutely addicted to color and as far as I'm concerned the more ways to add it the merrier I am!

wow! Celine's projects are fabulous, and I am in love with these amazing little chalk edgers after just recently discovering them. I'm on a very limited budget, so their small size and good price appealed to me...I do a lot of heritage layouts and Pastel Brown is my new best friend. I spotted the resin squirrel in the giveaway collection and my heart gave a leap-I used to have a pet squirrel and still have a really soft spot in my heart for them! Living in a small town in Canada, our stores don't have a huge selection of scrappy goodies, so a lot of these unique items are really hard to find (finding good classes to take that are inexpensive and close to home is a challenge too!) so I would be absolutely thrilled to win this wonderful collection of goodies-thanks so much for the chance!!

I can't choose because I never had one of these chalks. In fact, I have never seen one. In my country, scrapbooking is fairly new and not much places carry the necessary products. What I have, to make my albums and LOs, came by shipping from USA. And obviously, I would dive in this online scrapbooking class like a thirsty fish. Can't even imagine the thrill to be the winner of these amazing gifts.

It’s so difficult to choose a color they are really beautifully bright. If I have to pick one (or two hihi) it will be the Teal Damask or Pastel Peach. They are the loveliest colors!! I totally want to win these prices; because in my country (Belgium) there is no knowledge about scrapbooking. It’s hard to find any products and serenely a scrapbook ateliers!

I would be thrilled beyond words to win this giveaway as I am quite new to scrapbooking and am just starting to dabble with more mixed media styles and I struggle to find stockists of a lot of the Junkyard Findings in particular! The Summer Camp would be a like a dream come true to learn so many techniques from a professional!

I'm a girlie girl, so I would go with the Old Rose as my favorite color of chalk edgers, but probably I would end up using Dry Sand most often for distressing and ageing my projects.
I just wish that every one of your followers could get the prize pack and we all could share our love for crafting using such wonderful tools :)
Thank you for the opportunity to get a glimpse of real creative miracles!

Proudly shared on my FB! My favorite chalk edger colour is Attic Dust. I love how it works with every project I'm doing. I love the dirty or grungy look and was forever a fan of Tim Holtz' Antique Linen distress ink, well this gives a creamier coverage and is still very vintage for me. Thank you for the chance to win!

And I would also really like a spot in the awsome online class by Celine Navarro. I often choose the safe solutions in my scrapbooking so I really would liked to be challenged with colors and techniques.

Wow Ingvild. What a great week of inspiration. My favourite colour so difficult to choose just one.....How cool that the lucky winner will not have to choose what a fabulous prize. I think I am going to pick Attic Dust as my favourite as it has a cool name that really goes with all the Shabby Chic loveliness that has been shared this week and I think it is a yummy soft grey that compliments soft tones and pretty pastels and is just dark enough to be able to stamp or edge with. Happy to share on my blog and Facebook. Keeping everything crossed and thank you again for a great week of inspiration.
I would love to win this fabulous prize so I can play with all the lovely goodies of course!

Here are the reasons:

I was first intrigued by the fact that the chalk edgers look like traditional irons. That's so cute! But then I fell in love with the colors, too.
Lately I've been experimenting with using a baking tool for scrapbooking with chalk edgers, using the color Turquoise Stone..

Winning all the colors would be great for thinking of other, out-of-the-box type of ways of using them (which, after all, scrapbooking is all about).

Shared this on my blog today.

It's awfully hard to choose one shade as I have several of the neutrals but I think 'teak wall' would be my most used as I love distressed edges with vintage/shabby chic styles. I would ADORE however to try out all the other sensational shades.

As for all the other fabulous goodies you have added and then a chance to learn with Celine well this must be the most creative online giveaway going. To study with Celine would simply be awesome!
