Yes, we are giving a way a complete Chalk Edgers color set of all 48 colors, and we are throwing in more to the pot during the week, so please don't miss out on a single day! ;O)
As another share for the Chalk Edgers Week we are today going to share a amazing shadow box with tutorial from the talented DT member Florence Teixeira aka Floliescrap!
Shadowbox with tutorial by Florence Teixeira aka Floliescrap
Above: To create this shadow box I first used the Sizzix Big Shot machine with shaper dies - "Baroque" to cut two shaped designs. Then I used a Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing folders to add embossed texture to one of the shapes.
Above: Then I lightly inked the embossed Sizzix texture with Chalk Edgers “ Rusty Bucket” which makes the embossed design "pop up" and really comes trough!
Above: I cut out the center of the other shape, and then I used a Chalk Edger on the shape to give it an aged look.
Above: I also randomly added embossing powder on top of the embossed and Chalk Inked design, which gives a fun little extra touch!
Above: Finally, I finished to create my box by fixing a strip of paper between the two forms like in the picture.
I also added White and Rusty Bucket Chalk Edgers on the embellishments to give them a more aged look .
Now the shadow box is ready to be altered as desired!
Please see images below for more details of the inking effects by using the Chalk Edgers and all the beautiful Prima embellishments added:
