Today we will share some great mixed media projects and a very inspirational tutorial, all by DT member Stephanie Schütze aka Scrapmanufaktur from Switzerland!
Canvas "Adorable" by Stephanie
Above: "Maybe you remember the canvas with the butterfly? (below) This is approximately the same background. I used the awesome Chalk Edgers and sweet Shabby Chic Treasures for decoration. It fit's perfectly with the background. I love how it came out"
Above: Look at the dimensions Stephanie created by using all her amazing medium techniques and drawing skills, together with dimensional embellishment as the Shabby Chic Treasures resin "Garden Fittings" bench layered together with the cut out beautiful and sweet picture and roses die cuts.
Above: Stephanie added a Junkyard Findings "Rusty Zipper" pull directly to the canvas and just draw the zipper for hand, such an cool idea that makes a fun and personal look!
Here is a great tutorial from Stephanie showing us how to make these backgrounds! Please enjoy!
Layout by Stephanie
Above: "And this is a layout where I used my watercolor paints, a Shabby Chic Treasure mini window and Junkyard Findings clock hands. My title is shapeable wire."
Above: Look at this amazing way of using a photo together with different effects combining mediums and embellishment. It's almost as we get pulled into the piece of art!
Above: Stephanie added a Clock Face inside of the Shabby Chic Resin "Mini Windows", such an great little idea! On the resin window she added touches of colors with Chalk Edgers to archive an vintage and "used" look.
Canvas Panels by Stephanie
Above: "These are canvas panels for the kids room. With them every girl has a small sign indicating her own place in the kids room. The background it's made with spray paint and I used some structure paste, tissue paper and stamps. The front is decorated with amazing Resins from Ingvild Bolme: ShabbyChic Treasures old church, a bird and Shabby Chic Resin Treasures Large Window Shutters. I'm in love with such window scenes."
Above: Look at these layers and dimensions Stephanie adds to her creations. Each product is in itself dimensional, and they are all placed together in a creative way that adds the fun little details to look at.
